We were asked to print a large wall vinyl and some backlit prints to help set the scene at the Magic Gallery in Charing Cross Underground Arcade a few weeks ago.
The exhibition, titled “Remembrance of Things Passed”, was organised by Mixed Bag, a group of photographers who collaborate on various projects and exhibitions. They are currently preparing to present the show again from the 16th to 20th May. So we wish them good luck.
We get some interesting jobs. Here we were asked to produce a high quality print for a lightbox on a bespoke pinball machine. Our solutions was a vivid latex print onto a backlit film. It was displayed in Somerset House and the BFI in April 2016.
The huge flagship windows at Lillywhites’ Piccadilly Circus store needed an oversized backlit display with accompanying graphic boards and window vinyls to show off their Karrimor Reflect range. Strobing LED strips were added to the backlit display to add to the futuristic feeling of speed. The effect was quite stunning.
